I'm planning an anniversary road trip that's coming up in two weeks. Here is a Google Maps screen shot with a rough outline.

I've been working on large construction project in Sacramento, CA and will finish on a Friday so I'll have a couple weeks off. Plan is to drive up to Reno Friday night after work.

Next day, driving across Highway 50 to Great Basin. Spend a couple days there, biggest thing will be to hike Mt. Wheeler. Then cross over into Utah to go to Bryce and Zion. I have camping reservations for two days at Bryce and three at Zion. Then drive down to the Grand Canyon, planning to stop at Horseshoe Bend. We'll be there for 2 days.

Then back to California. I have a camp site for two nights in Joshua Tree and a hotel for 2 nights in La Quinta. Planning to spend a day down at the Salton Sea. Then we'll start heading back north, spending a couple days in Death Valley before taking 395 > 108 back to San Francisco.

I'm looking for any recommendations of places to stop along the way or great restaurants worth stopping for.
