Need recommendations for a Colorado trip!

My wife and I plus another couple are planning on taking a trip next summer to Colorado (with the assumption that COVID is at a better place), and plan on flying into an airport and doing a good bit of driving around. A little information that may help:

10 day trip (flying in Wednesday night and flying back 2 sundays after). Not averse tonflying into one airport and leaving at another.

Budget is pretty flexible because this trip is replacing our trip to Greece/Croatia that we had to cancel back in May

Currently planning on flying into Denver, but open to suggestions of other places to fly into that have great surrounding areas

Looking to do a moderate amount of hiking and sightseeing, but would also love to see some of the cities/towns as well. Breweries, restaurants, etc. (again, with the hope that COVID is in a better place).

Any suggestions would be great! Really looking forward to finally seeing this wonderful state!
