How can I tell if my dog is too hot/cold at night while sleeping in a car?
I'm heading out soon with my dog and we'll be sleeping in my car. We've been out on the road before, but this time at some points in the trip temperatures will get down to the low 30's at night. I have PLENTY of blankets, to include a few plush soft ones as well as two big wool ones. I also have a pretty soft doggy sweater that he'll have on.
So how can I tell how cold or how hot he is at night? I want him to be as comfortable as possible. He has a short coat of hair, so I know he doesn't have a high tolerance for cold weather.
