Planning on a trip soon and will hopefully do a large loop around the u.s, so I need some suggestions in cool places to visit. I would like to go out to the rockies and through washington but I have no clue on the severity of the west coast fire situation. Anyone know any good routes to take and sites to visit? I'd like to go to a few national parks, museums, rock hunting areas, pass by some cool military sites, and see some historic cities or monuments. Open to all suggestions.
