Road tripping the garden route, S.A 🇿🇦
I’ll be visiting my boyfriend sometime next year (May ish) when he’s doing his flying school training in port Alfred. We’re thinking of driving the garden route from port Elizabeth to Cape Town (5-6 days on the road) and covering sights on the eastern and western cape like mossel bay, knysna, tsitsikamma, plettenberg, oudtshoorn and spend a day whale watching in hermanus and at the wineyards in stellenbosch and finally driving into Cape Town for another 3 days Can you tell me the things I mustn’t miss out on along the garden route (and any hidden gems we might find off the beaten track?) Also what order of places would be most practical since we have around 6 days to do the route. We’re also on a budget so skydiving or bungee jumping is off the menu. We’d love suggestions on budget/mid range places to stay in these locations and any advice would be greatly appreciated esp on what to do/eat. Thanks in advance ❤️
