Hi everyone,

Have two weeks off starting Tuesday before I start my new job and was hoping to do some road tripping. My Mom will be in Branson, Missouri next week and I am hoping to join her. I also am potentially planning to meet someone I am seeing in Nashville on the way back.

All told it's about 16.5 hours from D.C. to Branson, 7.5 hours from Branson to Nashville, and like 10 hours from Nashville to D.C. I figure I'll stay in Louisville or somewhere nearby on the way to Branson. Few questions!

  1. Do you think this is a crazy road trip to do by myself/too much driving? Do you think it is safe to do right now with everything going on?
  2. Anyone done a similar route or know any good locations along the way?
  3. Recommendations for cities to stop in, places to stay -- probably will stay in an AirBNB to minimize exposure to others.
  4. Any other tips are appreciated!
