Need help with our plan B honeymoon!
So my honeymoon that consisted of a road trip around the southwest is getting postponed due to COVID and flight cancellations. Due to worry that our flight is going to get pushed and we will be SOL, me and my wife decided to go on a road trip to places that we can visit from our home state of VA, but are places we haven’t been before. We are from New England so that is out, and I have explored a fair bit of the states south of us, which leaves us looking west. I’m doing my own research, but with these weird times we are looking for cities that have enough outdoor or otherwise open and properly socially distancing places to visit while we are there. Most are mid sized cities and we wouldn’t be visiting each for more than 2 days.
Here’s some potential places, and the combination of each would depend on the route:
Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Louisville, Nashville, Asheville, Cincinnati- really anywhere within this general location. The only place I’m set on is Louisville but that may be as far west as we can go.
