Austin to New York doable or too long?
With the current covid concerns, instead of flying, my wife and I are planning to drive from Austin to New York to visit family there. We just have to be careful filling gas and pack our food from home.
It’s a 25 hr drive. The maximum I have driven till now is 7~8 hrs per day. So planning to make the trip in 2 days. Is taking turns and driving 12-13 hrs a day doable or insane? Has anyone made this trip without stopping?
For the night, we plan to sleep inside sleeping bags on a hotel bed and sanitize the absolutely necessary touching surfaces.
