Two weeks (maybe a little more), One RV, Four Travelers, Two Dogs
Hi all,
First time posting on r/roadtrip! Been looking forward to this post for a while. My husband and I planned on Italy for our honeymoon, had to cancel it not once but twice due to the pandemic. Oh well, no crying in baseball.
Instead we decided to skip ahead on the bucket list and plan a cross country road trip. We live in Pittsburgh, and would like to hit national parks (definitely Yellowstone, Badlands) - enjoying our country and each others company. We would like a mix of history and wonder but more wonder. No roadside diners or antique shops are off limits, happy to stop really anywhere worthwhile- our question is, where?
Joining us are my in-loves, an older couple who don’t have the easiest time walking but manage mostly fine, husband and I could branch off and do our own things (hiking etc.) We will also have our two dogs!
If you were planning this trip, what wouldn’t you want to miss?
Folks who’ve done this trip or one similar, any suggestions?
Totally new to this so anything helps!
