Summer Road Trip - Northern U.S.
Hi All!
So while most of my travel plans if not all have been cancelled so far, I was planning on doing a camping trip through the northern United States since it has been on my list for quite some time now.
I would be departing and ending in Dallas, Texas so I am accounting for at least 2-3 wasted days leaving and coming back home. Luckily my summer schedule is rather open due to working remotely.
As I noticed most National Parks and State Parks are still not allowing camping, my plan was mostly KOAs, BLMs and hotels for solid showers LOL.
My ask is what are must do things in the following states such as hikes, views, scenic drives, open to it all!
-Kansas
-Nebraska
-South and North Dakota
-Wyoming
-Montana
-Colorado
I was planning on mostly driving as much as I can right through Kansas and Nebraska unless someone mentions something specific.
Colorado I will miss most of it since I have spent plenty of time there already but it is on the way back home.
Thank you for any recs! I think i will be posting a makeshift itinerary once I get an idea of recs to go into more detail.
