Reality of doing a cross country road trip in the US right now?
I've been toying around with the idea of packing all my stuff up and leaving for a 2 week camping trip for a while, just me and my best friend. Our plan would be to leave NY and drive out and camp in Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming.
I've done the trip 5 times, so I know where to camp and stay to avoid being around crowds and people. We've also both been quarantining since this whole mess started. Was planning on doing a big shop for food at home, then using our grill and sleeping out of the car for the next 2 weeks.
In terms of safety/selfishness, I'm just really conflicted. Not sure what to do or if I should go. I talked to friends I have out in all 3 states and I've been monitoring the situation with the parks, and everyone I spoke to said to come and that they're going about lives as normal. Just conflicted.
