Leaving From LA to New Mexico In An Acura 2011 RDX (Do Or Dont)

I own an 2011 Acura RDX and I was considering doing a drive from LA to New Mexico to help pick up a friend who would have been originally driving from Dallas to LA do a full 22 hour drive. I would meet and time with him accordingly so we meet in New Mexico around the same time- he would drop off his Rental in new Mexico and I would drive back with him in the Acura.

Good or bad idea? I don’t care about the miles just maybe paranoid cause Its a 66,000 miles car and just not sure cause Ive never drove this much in general .

Any recommendations or tips would be greatly appreciated, or if anyone recommends I don’t I would appreciate that aswell.
