Late July/Early August Road Trip from Seattle to Missouri
Just went through an awful breakup, just bought a house and she cheated. Well, the light is now almost in sight and I don't know a better way to celebrate my freedom than a road trip!
Obviously, no one can predict with the current pandemic how much of the country will be open, but I am hoping at the very least state parks, restaurants, bars, etc will be open by this time.
Usually my first motivation in travel are baseball games, however there may not be fans in the stands this year (hence why Missouri, I've never been to Busch Stadium or Kauffman Stadium)
With baseball a major question mark, my main question is what are some highlights along the way? I am leaning more towards relaxtion/ state parks/nature.
Few more questions: I plan to rent a car for my trip as my 2007 cobalt may not be able to make it. Any issue with renting a car for such a long trip? I plan to drive it out then fly back. Also, is there an app or website where I can put in number of days and destination and it will split it up into equal segments?
