Working remote = road trip opportunity??
Hi all, I've just been informed that I'll be working remotely for at least the next 3 weeks. To me, this sounds like a great opportunity to do a road trip.
I'm starting in ct and would like to go down to the blue ridge parkway. I'm planning to stay in national parks and state forests, limit human contact to as close to zero as possible, and just camp and spend time outside.
I'd need to get a wifi point for my laptop and a power converter for my car. I was wondering if you all had thoughts on doing this type of trip. I.E. 'don't it's irresponsible' or 'go for it camping is super safe'.
Also looking for recommendations on where I could stay en route. Current thoughts are Delaware water gap, Monongahela national forest, Shenandoah, and new river gorge. I'd like a few more to break up the bigger driving chunks.
Thanks for your thoughts!
