Trying to plan a trip from Cleveland to Las Vegas (going through St. Louis, stopping in Denver) and could use absolutely any help. Leaving March 10th, need to be in Vegas by the 16th. Want to Airbnb until Vegas. Where the heck do I start?!
My husband has a conference in Las Vegas the 16th-18th so we decided to take off of work from the 2nd-22nd. We have four kids, however, and we’re only guaranteed a sitter for twelve of those 20 days, but there’s a chance we’d be able to extend our actual traveling time.
That being said, we only absolutely plan on stopping in Denver for a couple days, and the rest is just kind of whatever sounds/looks neat along the way. I’ve never planned a trip beyond a weekend to NYC so I’m totally clueless, plus we’re doing this SO LAST MINUTE because we’re waiting for some tax return action.
I guess I’m just looking for advice on how to plan an itinerary, what we should do that isn’t super tourist-y. I downloaded a couple apps that feel like they could be helpful but I’m still getting anxious on how little we actually have planned.
