I want to drive from Houston to Buffalo this summer, but am afraid of lower back/butt pain
Not sure if this is the best place to ask. Like the title says, I’d like to road trip to/from Houston TX to Buffalo NY this summer. It’s something I’ve never done before so will be exciting, and cheaper than flying and renting a car, which I usually do.
My biggest concern is discomfort. On longer drives, or even a long meeting sitting in one place, my bottom starts hurting. I guess the solution is to take frequent breaks, but my goal is to drive as long as possible before pulling over to stretch, or to at least have these breaks scheduled.
Anyone have ideas on how to alleviate discomfort from long drives? I bought one of those gel egg-carton like seat pads for a 3 hour “trip” last year, but it didn’t help much.
