I’m going to be travelling in Australia for around a month to six weeks. I intend to start in cairns and work my way down through Brisbane, Sydney, and then finish in Melbourne.

I am looking at renting a car, but I would only want to drive for around a week to 10 days (I don’t really enjoy driving all that much. The rest of my transport will be flying/buses).

So my question is, does anyone have any recommendations as to which part of the east coast I should drive down for the most scenic views and best places to stop along the way?
