I’ve never taken or planned a road trip and could really use some help. I’m leaving from DC and would like to make my way up the east coast to Maine and Arcadia. I have 7-9ish days to do it round trip. Would love some suggestions of places to stop, best way to break up the trip (up and back), as well as general road trip advice. A beach stop would be nice. I’ll be traveling with my two sons age 13 and 17 (may bring two of their friends as well).
