Driving from Midwest to New York City for Spring Break. What should we do and where should we stay in the city?
Hey all!
I’m planning a road trip from the Midwest to NYC in March. We will have about 5.5 days total and will make some stops along the way, so we are counting on having about 2.5 days in the city. Never been there, biggest city I’ve been to is Chicago.
Wondering if anyone has tips for parking, airbnbs/cheap-ish accommodation, and top things to do in NYC? I realize we have a short amount of time and the endless amount of sights & activities is kind of overwhelming. I don’t even know where to start, really.
For more info: we will probably want to see the big sights like Statue of Liberty, Times Square, but other than that are fairly open. We are definitely foodies and are going to have a hard time narrowing down which of the many amazing restaurants to go to! Any suggestions welcome. Thanks!
