Car maintenance along the way
Hey all, I'm looking for car maintenance advice.
I'm currently at the tail end of my roadtrip from NJ to CA. My car has been really great, she already got an oil change along the way. I've driven with the gaslight on a couple of times (kind of a terrible habit of mine). It's an 02 Camry with just over 150k miles. I'm getting worried that might be nearing dangerous territory, and I just made plans that are very out of the way and will add an extra 600 or so miles (but it's to go camping in the desert with good friends. Cannot be passed up). I wonder if anyone could tell me a good way to get a general check up on the road? Do people do that? Like "just look over my car and tell me what concerns you"? I wonder if I could get it done fairly quickly and last minute. I'll be driving from northern Utah to southern Nevada tomorrow, if anyone knows something about those particular areas. Also, maybe sign and symptoms to look out for? Hope this made sense and wasn't too rambly. Thanks very much!!
