April route + camper or car?
Hi, We're a couple planning a 14-day trip on April; ideally it'll be a coast to coast. We figured that since April can still be chilly it'd make sense to start from LA and head to NYC through more southern-bound routes, but we're still just spitballing. Are there any recommended routes along these lines, or even totally different ones that make sense during this time of the year?
Another thing is we've done a 3 month campervan trip in New Zealand in the past and liked it very much. We're debating on whether we should go for a camper this time around as well, since maybe it's an overkill for only two weeks.
Just for clearance: I'm jot referring to a full-on camper, but more like a van-turned-camper. We plan on sleeping in it several time but also hitting motels or whatever when needed.
