Advice - 1st Time, Seeking Tips / Opinions
Hi Everyone - I knew there would be a good sub for this.
My Girlfriend has always wanted to do a road trip and I want to put the plan together for April of 2020.
There's a music Festival in California she is dying to go to 4/24 so here is a (very) tentative plan for the road trip portion of the vacation. Please feel free to comment on the proposed path, states we are passing through, car recommendations, activities you've loved, etc. I really appreciate anything and everything!
Land in Minneapolis, MN 4/14 (rent a car, I'm thinking a 4-wheel-drive SUV)
Drive through:
- N or S Dakota
- Montana (2 days)
- Wyoming
- Utah OR Nevada
Arrive in San Francisco area of California on 4/19 or 4/20
From here I plan to take her to Napa for a few days before driving down to Southern California for the concert/. So overall its a 13-14 day trip. Only the first portion is a road trip but I want to hear from you regulars on whether or not that's a suitable plan.
