What route to take from Madison, Alabama to Baltimore, Maryland?
When I get directions on maps, it says to either go through Chattanooga and hop on I-75 to Baltimore or head north on I-64 to I-65 and go through West Virginia. My relative from Alabama is telling me to avoid Chattanooga because of the bad traffic and potential rain, but we don’t want to drive way north because that adds an extra hour or so.
We’re leaving around 5am from Alabama to get to Baltimore as soon as we can. Any tips are much appreciated!
We are driving a Honda CR-V and Chrysler Pacifica with boxes of clothes, so no heavy furniture.
