Okay folks, I’m new to this community. I’m planning a road trip across America in October next year. But before that, I gotta buy a car that can handle the trips, and I would like a few opinions: what kind of car should I buy?
Now I must let you know that I’m single and will be going by myself most likely. What I’m looking for specifically is a SUV or crossover. Some of my demands: - From 15 to 20k, older to newer models. - Reliable off road (just gravel and dirt, some mud, no rock crawling since I don’t know squat about rock crawling) - Big enough to place a mattress in the back for night sleep (I’m 5’6”, but I’m open to rooftop tent if you know a good product) I don’t care much for MPG nor van dweller type, even though the van dweller community really got my eyes. I’m open to any brands (American, European or Japanese). And I’ll be a bit slow to response. Thank you in advance!!! Edit: I should probably mentioned that I’m not gonna put a full size mattress, just a single person type. And I’m gonna outfit it with a custom front bumper, rear bumper guard and a lift kits if possible.
