Oct. Solo trip to Portugal, Barcelona, Morocco (in the desert), and Amsterdam (24 hr layover)
Hello fellow solo travelers!Does anyone have any advice on activities in Portugal, Barcelona, Marrakech, or Amsterdam? I am interested in walking tours or bike tours, food/wine tours and tasting, sporting events, and architecture. I also enjoy meeting up with people, let me know if anyone is in these cities at the same time. I do have accommodations booked at hostels in the city centers. I would like to keep activities on the cheaper side but am willing to spend more for unique experiences (sporting events).In Portugal, is there a way to get to the wineries? I am a huge fan of green wine and would like to learn how it is made and tour a vineyard. Is Sintra worth visiting? I am interested in history, food, and sporting events. Will there be soccer/football games in October or another sport that would be work seeing?In Spain, Can I do a day trip to Andorra from Barcelona or does that take too much time? With two days in the city, is it worth it to do a day trip outside the city or should I stay in Barcelona? I am planning on seeing Sagrada Familia and Park Güell.In Amsterdam, any good morning walking tours people would suggest? I would need to be back at the airport by 1:30/2pm so I was thinking of just grabbing coffee and walking around.In Marrakech, how safe has other women felt walking around by themselves? or taking the public bus? It is my first time in Africa (continent number 6 for me!)
