Moving from SoCal to Quebec by car: best way to roadtrip?
Good evening!
I'll be moving from SoCal to Québec in about a month from now. I will be driving my car, and I'll have my dog with me. Dog-friendly activities are preferred! I'm French, and only moved to the US a year ago (though I did live in BC, Canada, for about a year a few months before that), so I'm not quite familiar with the territory yet.
I would say I can make it a 10 day drive, 15 tops if I stay in questionable motels. I don't mind taking smaller roads, and not driving on major highways at all times.
I have driven through Washington, Oregon, and California quite a few times, and drove to Santa Fe for work once. I have never really visited the rest of the US, so I'm dying to use this opportunity to see a bunch of stuff.
I absolutely want to go see the Grand Canyon, so I was thinking of going to Arizona, then New Mexico, and head North to Colorado, as I've heard it's a beautiful state. I'm not particularly a fan of cities, and would rather see beautiful places, and fun roadside attractions. I'll also stop by the Niagara Falls on my way.
Any input or ideas would be greatly appreciated!
