Montana/Wyoming/Idaho
Looking for some route advice, heading from Northern Utah to Missoula/Glacier and back. There seem to be a few ways to go, one being the Jackson/Yellowstone direction. Any recommendations about going that way, or Rt 15 or 287, Lolo/Payette/Sawtooth area, or even farther west? Open to taking the same route north/south or making a loop. Mostly camping and primarily hiking, sightseeing, and trying to avoid the worst of the tour bus crowds although I know the timing won’t be great for much solitude. Got about two weeks, give or take, and heading out in early August. Any input much appreciated!
