How to spend a week and a half in Laos?
Hi everyone,I'm about three weeks into a three-month long trip in SE Asia - I'm meeting my friend (who is coming from the UK) in Hanoi, Vietnam on August 8, so I have just over a week to "kill" until then. I've been to Luang Prabang and Kasi, and I've been in Vang Vieng for the past two days. The way I see it I could...- Just check myself into a nice hotel and chill in Vang Vieng and Vientiane- Do something like the Thakhek motorbike loop- Go completely off board and fly to somewhere like the Thai islandsI've saved up plenty of money so it isn't too much of an issue. And before you say it, I realise I'm in an incredibly fortunate position and this is very 'first world problem' of me.
