Get a 65L backpack instead of a 55L backpack for 3 months off work?

(28M) The end of this month I've got three months off of work (Yay!), during these three months am giving up my lease and putting all my stuff in storage. This means I'll be living out of a backpack. For two months I plan to solo travel southeast Asia, the other month I have no idea where I'll be (Visiting friends around the U.S, plus maybe a short trip to South America?). I got a 55 liter Osprey and have almooost been able to fit everything I want in it with two slight issues.Shoes! How the hell do people pack shoes, since it's monsoon season in southeast asia plus I like the occasional fancy bar/club I want a bunch of shoes but think I'm limited to two (maybe 3?) pairs. This is a bit more umm ridiculous. I'm bringing a Nintendo switch, but I also want to bring the thing it docks and a control adapter + 2 gamecube controllers so that I can boot up super smash brothers whenever wanted :/Has anybody here traveled around in a 65 liter backpack, and if so how was it? I’m on the fence between getting a bigger backpack or sticking with my 65 Liter, everyone online always says go no bigger then 55 Liter for this sort of thing which is making me think maybe I’m overpacking. via /r/solotravel https://ift.tt/2lqCIYq
