Followup for the person asking for places for an introvert to visit!
A month ago, I asked for recommendations for places an introvert should visit on their first solo trip.After much consideration, I decided to go to London. Overall, I think London will be the easiest for me to get a feel for solo traveling. However, I am going to do 11 days at the end of November and beginning of December. I wanted to go when there were less tourists and over Thanksgiving so I lose less vacation days.Some people told me that 11 days will be too long for just London. So, I am thinking of other cities to visit. I know places like Dublin and Paris are close by but I am not super interested those places.I thought of flying to Poland. I'd like to see Auschwitz-Birkenau (take the 6 hour guided tour). I am also interested in the many WWII museums and historical sites. Plus there is so much beautiful architecture.Is Poland fairly easy to navigate using public transportation and without speaking the language? I assume is it fairly safe for a solo female traveler. My main concern is how cold it might be when I go. I could start my trip in Poland then go to London in the hopes of getting slightly better weather. But I know seeing places like Auschwitz can really drain you.If not Poland, what cities would you recommend I go to for 4 (maybe 5) days?
