First time solo travelling, my love letter to Paris

Paris... you are indeed the city of love. You feel different. I feel welcomed here. Met new friends, made unforgettable memories, even fell in love for a short time for a Parisian guy.For the new friends who I was with at a park drinking cheap wine and cheese. It was lovely how we talked about our cultures and how life is so beautiful. We met when it was the hottest day ever, but I will remember it as the day I met wonderful people. I’ll see you both soon when I visit Poland, Switzerland and Vietnam. Thank you.Oh you, I will never forget our date. You are so insanely captivating. You are my glasses twin. Blue is definitely your colour — navy blue to be exact. Your long lashes, your perfectly freckled face, your fucking French accent even though you hate it. Even a random guy asked if I was your girlfriend and you confidently said “Oui.” Going on an art exhibition where we talked shit about art, sitting down on the floor and trying to be quiet while we get to know each other, being on a scooter with you going to Le Marais where I can feel your hand against mine, sharing your knowledge about your favourite city whilst I talked about how important oxygen is and how does poison works in our body and you patiently listened to me with a genuine interest look in your eyes. For a short time, you made me feel special. Thank you.Paris... you made me a hopeless romantic again. You took a piece of my heart. Thank you. via /r/solotravel https://ift.tt/2Yue5w2
