First solo trip
I’ll be going on my first solo trip next week to Las Vegas for 4 full days. I was really worried at first because I wasn’t sure how I would keep myself busy and whether or not I’d feel lonely walking around by myself. I planned 1-2 activities for myself for each day, but they won’t constitute the majority of my time. This means that in the meantime I’ll probably spend time going to some of the museums, shopping and eating, which I hope will suffice.I’m from NYC and have lived here my entire life. There are an endless amount of activities to do (despite that I had the urge to travel some place else) and wondered if Vegas was similar in any way aside from the number of people that visit daily (I got a sense of comfort in Vegas appearing as busy as NYC). A lot of people here have recommended NYC as a great place for a solo trip but the vast majority have stated that Vegas isn’t some place they’d recommend for a solo trip due to many activities revolving around gambling or partying (neither of which I plan on doing). It just makes me wonder, is that all there is to Vegas? I’m still going and like the events I have planned, but I guess I don’t want to be on the search for something outside of that and end up disappointed while I’m there.
