Denver to Reno - Good doggy spots
Hello! I will be moving to Reno and have a cute 5 mo old pup. Shes been REALLY good in the car...like unreal good. anyway, this is my first big road trip with her - I just wanted to see if anyone knew of good rest stops for dogs to run and play for a bit. She gets antsy after 2-3 hours --but thats cause shes full of energy. Once she's pooped she'll sleep in the car.
A little about the trip:
I am starting in Denver, ending in Reno. Staying overnight in Salt lake (going the highway 80 route)
My car can go about 300 miles before I need to refuel.
Would prefer stops/towns where I can get gas and then go to a nice grass/field area where she can run around and is away from traffic.
Want to avoid the gas pit stop and then another "rest stop" stop. (like two separate exits)
