Almost done with my solo travel to Thailand, I feel like I'm falling in love with life again.
I'm in my hostel, in a hammock relaxing for the morning. This is my first solo travel abroad and it's been excellent. The me I knew before travelling never thought I could the be one to strike up conversations. I've always been the person who thought, "why bother talking to people you're never gonna see again in your life", but I'm starting the see the change within myself. People come and go in hostels and it's okay just to have a light conversation with just small talk, throw a little polite jokes in, laugh and have a good time like that. After all, there is no foreverness and I think these seemingly small moments make you feel happy all the same.I think I enjoyed talking to all these people from different backgrounds, different passions, and different stories, more than actual sightseeing (though that was great too). It's giving me more perspective on how to live a more meaningful life and not having to rush through it. via /r/solotravel https://ift.tt/2XgleQC
