6,000 mile solo road trip. Feasible?
I live in the panhandle of Florida, and I can either fly, or drive to Seattle, Washington. I can give myself a week of travel time each way, but I dont think that is necessary. I love driving, and I love road trips; but I am only 20, so trying to grab a hotel on the side of the interstate is risky (most hotels require an “adult” 21 years old or older to check in). I have never done a multi-day road trip, but I have pulled some 17-hour drives off in a single day. Id really love to see some of the different parts of the country while passing by.
Most of the Hotels I have attempted to book a room at (with the 21+ policy) have been in major cities, so it could be possible that roadside motels do not have the same policy.
Thoughts and concerns would be greatly appreciated!
