Imodium for Diarrhea Questions
I'm currently on a trip in India (Mumbai). Must've had some bad food because I've had some gas/bloating/diarrhea the last 1-2 days. I kind-of ignored it and ate regularly, so it got a little worse. I'm flying out on Monday night and I want to enjoy my last weekend without having to run to the bathroom or deal with bad gas every time I eat something, so I'm planning to just take an Imodium capsule. I just have a few questions if anyone could answer themIf I take one today (Saturday afternoon) can I take another one on Monday night before flying out? If the diarrhea wears off then I guess I probably won't have to, but just in case. I don't wanna be running to the bathroom on a 16 hour flight.I'm sticking to rice/bananas/bread in terms of my diet until my flight, but would going out and having a few beers tonight with my friends be extremely ill-advised if I'll be taking Imodium? Apart from these beers I only drink water, and lots of it, so I'm not worried about dehydration, just if there's any side effects from alcohol + the medicationAny experience/advice with smoking tobacco/cannabis and Imodium? Is it something I should avoid or is it okay? I probably won't smoke but if anyone could answer this that would be great.I have taken Imodium once before in high school, so I'm not worried about allergies or anything like that. I remember it being super effective at treating diarrhea (maybe a little too effective lmao).
