How's this itinerary for 24 days in (mostly) Northern Spain
Hi everyone,26F, first-time solo traveler, recent Reddit user (and now I'm hooked). I posted here earlier and realized I was trying to do WAY too much so I have tried to focus my trip on a few places in Spain. I want to see/do a lot but I really want the trip to be relaxing and not feel rushed or just constantly moving from place to place.LOOKING FOR: Advice on the places I have chosen and the number of days I have allocated for them. Some suggestions for places to go after Picos and before Madrid.INTERESTS: Vegetarian Food, Cultural Sites, Beaches, Hiking, Walking around, Meeting People, A mixture of touristy places and chill/not as touristy placesDATES: Mid July-- August. Since it's Summer I decided to focus on the NorthOTHER CONSIDERATIONS: 1) relying on Public Transit, 2) with the exception of the Picos tour, I am flexible with dates and locations! 3) I'm an extrovert, but need to recharge alone. So looking for places I can meet other people in.17 Madrid (Wednesday) -- Barcelona, arrive to Barcelona around 2:30pm!18 Barcelona19 Barcelona20 Barcelona21 Barcelona -- San Sebastián (5.5 hour train)22 San Sebastian23 San Sebastián - Biarritz day trip24 San Sebastian25 San Sebastian - San Juan Gaztelugatxe day trip26 San Sebastian -- Bilbao27 Bilbao -- Oviedo28 Oviedo -- Congas de Onis (I need to get to Congas for my Picos tour but am having a really hard time figuring out the best city to go to and what public transit route to take. I’ve seen a couple suggestions for Oviedo)29 Picos de Europa (guided tour, set dates/places)30 Picos de Europa31 Picos de Europa1 Picos de Europa2 Picos de Europa -- Llanes or Gijon? (I really want a couple days on the beach/something relaxing after hiking so much so thinking Llanes but open to other suggestions.
