France itinerary advice
so i posted before but i only got one reply lmao trying again in the hopes of getting a few more responses as i'm struggling to decide how to spend my first time in France! Planning on being there for about 3 weeks (flexible) in September before crossing the border to Spain. I'll be getting around by train/bus. The only places I'm sure to visit are Paris (starting point), Nice (with day trips to Provence and other parts of Riviera, maybe Antibes), Corsica and Marseille. I'm split between just sticking with this itinerary and taking the train from Marseille to Barcelona, or if there's more I shouldn't miss as I have a whole european tour planned and don't intend to return to France anytime soon. I'm interested in sightseeing, culture, history and beautiful sceneries - nondrinker so anything to do with wine tasting or nightlife isn't for me. The other cities that I've earmarked as possibilities are Bourdeaux, Biarritz, Dordogne, Avignon and Annecy as they all seem lovely. I hear a lot about the Loire Valley but not sure if it's a place that's better reached via car than public transport.
