I’m planning my first solo trip and first trip ever to Europe. I’ve booked my plane, a train ticket, etc...

I’m so nervous about communicating with people (I am learning as much language as I can before getting there) or in general just feeling confused/lost.

I’ve flown a few times but only in the US and usually had someone with me. I barely know how to use the metro and I don’t think I’ve ever been on a public transport bus.

So you just go with it and accept this feeling (which I’m sure gets better in time)? Or is there a secret to dealing with this?
