Hi solotravel. Getting ready to do my second solo trip. First one was last August to DC. This year, I'm going to Chicago in July. With DC, I wanted to experience the city and see the Capitol. With Chicago, I have a different agenda. I'm anticipating moving within the next 2-3 years, and Chicago is on my list of cities I'm considering.

Has anyone visited a city with the intention of moving there? I want to try to emulate daily life in the city as much as possible while I'm there. I'll be driving up, and I'm planning on staying in an AirBnB in the general area of the city I would live in. Or maybe I should stay in a few different places?

I've got 5 days, including travel days. Any advice/ideas are welcome.
