Off to Portugal, is my trip too packed?
Hi all, per the title I'm visiting Portugal and would love for anyone knowledgeable to shed some light on my plan. I'm hoping to spend time in Lisbon, Azores, Porto, and Lagos (priority order) and will be flying into Lisbon and out of Porto (well, the flights are roundtrip to Madrid, but that's what I'd prefer). Tentative idea by date, visiting end of summer:
- 11th - Madrid to Lisbon (arrive mid-morning)
- 11-14 morning: Lisbon (3 nights)
- 14 morning -16 night: Azores (2 nights)
- 16 night - 18 afternoon: Lagos (via Lisbon, or how? ~2 nights)
- 18 – 20 afternoon: Porto (2 nights)
- 20 afternoon - 21: Madrid (1 night)
This moves pretty quickly but seems doable, given transportation makes sense (getting to/from Lagos seems like the only tricky thing). Yes, fully aware that 1 night is Madrid "not enough to see Madrid".
Welcome all recommendations on how to get around these, how to amend these dates, etc. - let me know if anything is unclear! Thanks :)
