New Zealand WHV with a criminal conviction
Hey guys,
I’m not sure if this is the right place to post but I’ll give it a go anyways. My bf and I currently live in Australia on working holiday visa’s but time is running out and we’re thinking of heading over to NZ to do the same thing. The problem is my bf was recently convicted in Australia on a criminal offence and was “sentenced” to 6 months of community corrections. His record will not show any jail time, but of course will have the CC order. Of course he will have to declare this on his application to NZ, but I’m wondering if anyone knows the chances of him actually getting accepted? He’s from the UK if that matters.
