Italy - 4 Weeks in Winter
I'm looking at going to Italy from Nov 24-Dec 24. I have my itinerary loosely planned out.
At what price is business class worth it? Current prices from my local airport are as follows:
Econ: $1200
Prem Econ: 1600
Business: 2800
For reference I am 6'3" and overweight. I've had no issues in econ for short flights(miserable, but tolerable for a couple hours), but flew prem econ for flight last year and I definitely think the cost difference is worth it for the legroom. It is a redeye departing at 8pm from ATL and arriving at VCE at 5pm. Return flight leaves ROM at 1130am and lands at 8pm. I would like to think it's worth the cost for the lie flat bed for the red eye there and especially for the 12 hr return flight during the day.
Also, if at the price it's a good deal is American or Delta the better option? No A350s on the Delta route so I assume no Delta One cabins are available anyway.
