Is it better to take one long road trip or multiple small road trips?
Long story short, my SO and I are planning on visiting some of my serious options for Grad school. I have about two years before I need to actually apply and be accepted to these schools (if I don't get into the ones I visited, oh well it'll still be a good trip). We both don't want to commit to living in a location we've never visited before, hence the road trip (and it would be good quality time).
They're all kind of in the north-west corner of the US. We're in Nebraska.
Our proposed trip was to visit Missoula MT, a city in Washington (to visit his mom), and Eugene OR, then come back to NE. This would be quite a long trip and we'd both have to take a lot of time off.
Is it a good idea to try and knock out all these places at once? Or are we better off spreading out the trips?
