Planning a trip to Norway for 1.5 weeks this September.

Hoping to do some hikes near Stavanger and Bergen for 5 or so days (doing Trolltunga in there) and then heading to the Lofoten Islands (EVE airport) from Bergen.

General idea at that point is going to be to rent a car, check out some of the villages, do some hikes, and chase northern lights (will be mid September at this point so we should have enough darkness assuming the solar activity plays nice).

Do any of you guys have any recommendations for “off the beaten path” hikes. Or maybe some fantastic accommodations?

In general, just looking to see if people have any tips or tricks. I’ve searched on the sub and have found some general advice around cities (don’t stay in Oslo) and the popular hikes but hoping someone with Nordic experience can chime in.
