I have never been to either. Sometimes it is hard to arrive at a country especially ones like New Guinea and navigate the culture. I would normally go on a tour, but it is a challenge to get to see the things you really want too. It's all preplanned and you only go where the tour goes.

I am looking at a trip in June leaving from the states. I was hoping for help with must see sites and general tips on getting around.

I know they have forested a lot of the trees in Madagascar, but I really want to go to the baobab tree.
