I did it! Booked a one way ticket to Kuala Lumpur

I (27F) just bought the ticket and I'm feeling a little bit overwhelmed, this is such a huge step for me. Seven months ago the person who I thought would be my partner for life suddenly broke up with me, Leaving me out of nowhere and shattered every view of the future I had, including traveling the world together. After a few months I started to open up to the idea of traveling solo and after posting here and receiving amazing support, I went to Spain for 8 days by myself and it was fantastic. That trip made it clear to me that I am capable of traveling solo and I should pursue the dreams I once thought I'd do together with the one I love (yes, I can't deny that I'm not fully over him) by myself.

I don't really have a travel itinerary yet, but I'm thinking about after traveling through Malaysia I'd also want to visit at least Laos, Myanmar, Vietnam and I'd absolutely love to visit Japan, but I don't know if that's possible with my budget.
My travel budget will be around 3500-4000 euro and I think I'd like to travel for 3-4 months, though I don't have any return deadlines.
After backpacking for a few months I want to settle down in Thailand and teach English at a primary school (found one through Workaway that really speaks to me). I graduated as a primary school teacher last year and I love my job, so I think this will be a great experience.

Though I can be a bit shy at first, I love to meet new people and be social, so I'm really gonna focus on that while looking for hostels. There are so many things I'm worried about, like finding my way, the language, the currency, getting vaccinated, getting around by public transportation, I really gotta learn how to eat with chopsticks and try to get used to using my right hand since I'm left handed, but I'm sure it's gonna be amazing.

Really any kind of advice is welcome, things I should try, visit or definitely pack. Also comments on my budget and itinerary are very welcome! And if anyone wants to share their story, please feel free to do so :)
