First time was Prague...
So I went to Europe for the first time in November. It didn't go as I had planned or envisioned because i ended up getting super sick. As a native English and not at all Czech speaker it was a bit scary. The worst part was that when I arrived and wanted to shower and change, the water had an awful sulfar smell that kept making me vomit and my clothes were soaking wet from being left on the tarmac during a thunderstorm.
Without a shower or dry and clean clothes I was feeling more than stressed. I slept for two days.
In the clothes I wore on 4 flight to get me from Canada to Prague.
After that, I woke up and checked into a fancy and expensive spa hotel to be able to wash my clothes and body. Best. Decision.
Checking out Prague was amazing. It was stunning, kind, safe, fun, etc. I loved it.
Now in July I'm going to Portugal and Italy on my own. Portugal involves work and alone time. But Italy will be strictly me.
Any advice to avoid getting sick, enjoying and exploring the alone time, growing, food, accommodations, etc. Let me know.
Staying in Cascais, Portugal and Florence, Italy.
