First solo trip to south east Asia

I’m planning my first solo trip to South East Asia towards the end of the year. I’m planning on visiting for about 3-4 weeks sometime between September and the end of the year. I’m hoping that posting here would help me with my research.

My research so far seems to show that November/December would be the best months to visit but any advice on this would be appreciated.

I’d like to visit Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and maybe Thailand, does this seem possible in such a short amount of time?

Also I’ve been trying to find out how easy it is to meet other travellers in these countries, since I’ve not been travelling on my own before this part seems like it could be quite daunting.
