[UPDATE] Travelling to Turkey on my own tomorrow and the anxiety has set in. Very scared

Summary: I was travelling solo for the first time to Turkey for dental work and was extremely anxious and scared something bad would happen.
Well the anxiety went away when I was queuing with everyone for the flight there. Once you're actually there and you're around other excited people who are travelling it definitely puts you at ease I feel. I've learned to accept that bad people can be anywhere and not to live with fear. If anything bad happens, so be it. Got to live your life.
I was sat next to a lovely old Turkish man on the plane who shook my hand and kept offering me sweets which was so wholesome and calmed me down so much. Once I got to my hotel and looked at the incredible view from my balcony I had a wave of happiness and was so proud of myself. Since then I had a great, relaxing time and everyone, even the dentists which I were terrified of had been nothing but helpful and unbelievably friendly, as had any stranger I've met in the city etc.
Two Turkish men spent like 30 minutes of their Friday evening trying their best to help me find a pharmacy despite not speaking a word of English and then shook my hand and bowed their head as we went our separate ways.
Turkey is an absolutely incredible, beautiful country. After never travelling outside of the UK besides Spain when I was just 6 I feel like I've had a real breakthrough as a person and have the confidence to go anywhere I want and do anything I want now. Not to mention that I was extremely happy with the dental work I got done which has also boosted my confirmed massively. I'm so glad I went through with it and would recommend everyone to do the same. Life's too short.
Thanks all and I hope you have a great weekend.
